Thanchanok Thanasoonthon is graduated from the
Faculty of Fine art, majoring in Painting, at King Mongkut's Institute of
Technology Ladkrabang. Her paintings focus heavily on mood
and atmosphere, especially through her signature use of deep blue tones. She
combines surreal elements with an expressive, almost raw energy, using bold and
unrefined brushstrokes to convey emotion. At first glance, her work may seem
chaotic or overwhelming, but beneath that surface lies a quiet sense of
stillness and solitude. There is a subtle inner movement within each piece a kind of emotional tension that quietly
exists beneath the layers of paint.
