Forever นิรันดร์

“Forever” the first exhibition of Thunchanok  Plakulsantikorn the new generation female artist from Burapha University express her artwork by using mist color on a soft chalk to create softness on the image through the canvas that were pegged by a frame and therefore create warmth in accordance with the king’s mother that has delivered the name of “Bhumibol”...“In fact Bhumibol means the energy of the land, I want you to stay on the land”. The name Bhumibol reflects her will to raise her son to be kind person with good moral and also to love his people and his land.

That is the starting point of the exhibition “Forever” that shows the life of a person not on the duty as a king but on the duty to make as much benefit as possible for other people even though he is a king but he still living a sufficiency life and devoted himself for the happiness of others. This make us think about the word “Sufficiency” as the name of Bhumibol which stands for the energy of the land.

“นิรันดร์” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของ ธัญชนก ผลากุลสันติกร ศิลปินหญิงรุ่นใหม่จากมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ถ่ายทอดผลงานจิตรกรรมสีฝุ่นบนดินสอพอง ทับซ้อนจนเกิดเป็นรูปที่มีความอ่อนนุ่ม ผ่านผ้าใบที่ขึงด้วยสะดึง ทำให้เกิดความ อบอุ่น นุ่มนวล สอดคล้องกับที่สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนีมีรับสั่งถึงความหมายของพระนาม “ภูมิพล” ไว้ว่า “อันที่จริงเธอชื่อ ภูมิพล ที่แปลว่า 'กำลังของแผ่นดิน' แม่อยากให้เธออยู่กับดิน” สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี รับสั่งถึงความหมายของพระนาม “ภูมิพล” สะท้อนได้ถึงความตั้งพระทัยที่จะอบรมเลี้ยงดูพระราชโอรสให้เป็นคนดีมีคุณธรรม ทรงสอนให้รักประชาชนและแผ่นดินไทยยิ่งชีพ
นี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของนิทรรศการ “นิรันดร์” ที่แสดงถึงช่วงชีวิตของคนคนหนึ่ง ไม่ใช่ในบทบาทหน้าที่ของกษัตริย์ แต่คือบุคคลผู้ซึ่งค้นพบจุดประสงค์ในการดำรงอยู่เพื่อทำประโยชน์ให้แก่ผู้อื่น แม้ทรงเป็นกษัตริย์ แต่กลับดำเนินชีวิตด้วยความพอดีและมุ่งทำประโยชน์เพื่อผู้อื่น จนทำให้เราตระหนักถึงความหมายของ “ความธรรมดาที่พอดี” สมดังพระนาม “ภูมิพล” ที่แปลว่า กำลังของแผ่นดิน
