Ekachai Luadsoongnern (b. 1961)

Ekachai Luadsoongnern’s paintings emerge from journeys through natural landscapes and close observation of changing light, atmosphere, and place. Working primarily in oil, he translates mountains, rivers, gardens, and rural paths into expressive compositions shaped by vivid colour and energetic brushwork.

In Road to Heaven, presented at Number 1 Gallery in 2012–2013, landscape becomes both a record of travel and an imagined passage toward serenity. Rather than reproducing nature literally, Ekachai emphasises its emotional presence—transforming remembered places into luminous scenes suspended between observation, memory, and personal experience.

ผลงานจิตรกรรมของเอกชัย ลวดสูงเนิน เกิดขึ้นจากการเดินทาง การสังเกตภูมิทัศน์ ตลอดจนความเปลี่ยนแปลงของแสง บรรยากาศ และสถานที่ เขาถ่ายทอดภาพภูเขา สายน้ำ สวน และเส้นทางในชนบทผ่านสีน้ำมัน สีสันสดชัด และจังหวะฝีแปรงที่เปี่ยมด้วยพลัง

ในนิทรรศการ Road to Heaven ซึ่งจัดแสดง ณ Number 1 Gallery ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2555–2556 ภูมิทัศน์ทำหน้าที่ทั้งเป็นบันทึกของการเดินทางและเส้นทางในจินตนาการที่นำไปสู่ความสงบ ศิลปินมิได้มุ่งจำลองธรรมชาติตามที่ตามองเห็นเท่านั้น หากเน้นย้ำความรู้สึกที่ธรรมชาติทิ้งไว้ เปลี่ยนสถานที่ในความทรงจำให้กลายเป็นภาพอันสว่างไสวระหว่างการมองเห็น ความทรงจำ และประสบการณ์ส่วนบุคคล
