Wisit Techasirikosol is a Thai contemporary artist who holds a
Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. His
practice focuses on abstract art developed through deliberate planning and
critical inquiry into social issues. Drawing on his life experiences, he
explores themes of humanity, the cycles of life, and the rules and mechanisms
that govern economic systems.
Wisit has consistently presented his work in
exhibitions, including the solo exhibitions Depth, No Wall, Palette of
Possibilities, The Hawker Labor Path, P (Control) =1, and Landscape on Mind.
His works have also been featured in group exhibitions across Thailand and on
the international stage.
His most recent solo exhibition “No Signal”
examines the relationship between “sign” and “meaning” through forms inspired
by traffic signals. When the intent to communicate is disregarded, the concrete
may ultimately dissolve into the abstract.
