In a world where humans consider themselves the center, 
the boundary between nature and objects gradually blurs.

The exhibition "Homo Plasticus" by artist Channarong Daengpakham conveys the state of 'Anthropocentrism' or the concept of 'human-centeredness,' which views everything on Earth as mere materials for shaping, distorting, 
and reproducing to satisfy one's desires.

The imitation of nature in this series of works is not merely a replication of likeness, but rather a revelation of 
human power attempting to control the environment. It reflects how humans have established themselves as the sculptors of the world (Plasticity), wielding the authority to define the form, meaning, and existence of all things. 
The line between living beings and plastic, between nature and artificial objects, gradually blurs, as if the 
entire world is being reshaped by human hands.

นิทรรศการ “Homo Plasticus” โดยศิลปิน ชาญณรงค์ แดงประคำ ถ่ายทอดภาวะ ‘Anthropocentrism’ หรือแนวคิด 
‘มนุษย์เป็นศูนย์กลาง’ ซึ่งมองทุกสรรพสิ่งบนโลกเป็นเพียงวัสดุสำหรับการปั้นแต่ง บิดเบือน และผลิตซ้ำเพื่อสนอง
ความปรารถนาของตน 

การเลียนแบบธรรมชาติในผลงานชุดนี้จึงมิใช่เพียงการจำลองความเหมือน หากเป็นการเผยให้เห็นอำนาจของมนุษย์ที่พยายามควบคุมสิ่งแวดล้อม สะท้อนการที่มนุษย์สถาปนาตนเองขึ้นเป็นผู้ปั้นแต่งโลก (Plasticity) ผู้มีอำนาจกำหนดรูปทรง ความหมาย และการดำรงอยู่ของสรรพสิ่ง จนเส้นแบ่งระหว่างสิ่งมีชีวิตกับพลาสติก ระหว่างธรรมชาติกับวัตถุเทียมค่อย ๆ พร่าเลือน ราวกับโลกทั้งใบกำลังถูกหลอมรวมขึ้นใหม่ด้วยมือมนุษย์
