Celebration of flesh and blood

Pat Yingcharoen born and raised in Bangkok. For many years, the artist has created artworks by using historical evidence as a reference, leads to an initial conclusion that actually, history is similar to the long novel without ending because the author has passed on both his equipment and authority from generation to generation until the present. However, although the main purpose of history is to record the story of humankind but it becomes full of mythologies of ancient divines, religions, great emperors until sacredness of modern world institutions such as nation-states, economics, political regime, etc. which are all the collective imagination of human, hence, there has only minor space for ordinary people who possess flesh, blood, breath, and feel.

Therefore, at the time human has preached by those collective imaginations about the great and sacred power far beyond their worthless lives, so they become a creature with the highest ambition but also the greediest and cruelest as well.

If “Myth” is an exhibition about divines “Celebration of flesh and blood” is the set of works that present all about ordinary people with all their conditions as a human by replacing, overlapping and re-arranging images of god or religious icons with contemporary events. Ultimately, if the human has learned about themselves they may also learn to respect each other and grow to be the love of humanity at last, which’s all divines, great men and all those collective imaginations from the past has failed all along.

He graduated from Visual Arts (Painting) Program, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University and he has been awarded the first class honour. He has join show including international stage, Art Expo Malaysia 2018, Art Central Hong Kong 2019.

พัทธ์ ยิ่งเจริญ  เกิดและเติบโตในกรุงเทพมหานคร ตลอดระยะเวลาเส้นทางของศิลปินที่สร้างสรรค์ผลงานโดยการอ้างอิงทั้งเนื้อหา และแหล่งข้อมูลจากหลักฐานทางประวัติศาสตร์ ส่งผลให้เกิดการตกตะกอน ในเบื้องต้นว่า อันที่จริงแล้วประวัติศาสตร์นั้นคล้ายกับนิยายเรื่องยาวที่ปราศจากตอนจบ เนื่องจากผู้ประพันธ์ได้ส่งต่อปากกา ม้วนกระดาษ พร้อมด้วยอำนาจในการประพันธ์จากรุ่นสู่รุ่น เรื่อยมากระทั่งปัจจุบัน อย่างไรก็ดี แม้หมุดหมายของประวัติศาสตร์คือการบันทึกเรื่องราวของมนุษย์ ทว่า ประวัติศาสตร์กลับเต็มไปด้วยปกรณัมของเหล่าเทพเจ้า ศาสนา มหาบุรุษ จักรพรรดิผู้เกรียงไกร เรื่อยมาจนกระทั่งความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของสถาบันหลักทางสังคมสมัยใหม่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรัฐชาติ ระบอบการปกครอง ระบบเศรษฐกิจ ฯลฯ ซึ่งล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นจินตนาการร่วมของมนุษย์ทั้งสิ้น เรื่องราวของปุถุชน ที่ครอบครองเลือดเนื้อ ลมหายใจ อารมณ์ และความรู้สึก จึงเหลือที่ว่างให้ปรากฏอยู่เพียงน้อยนิดเท่านั้น

ในแง่นี้ เมื่อมนุษย์ถูกหล่อหลอมด้วยความทรงจำรวมหมู่ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยจินตาการ ฝัน เพ้อ ถึงอำนาจที่ยิ่งใหญ่ และศักดิ์สิทธิ์ไปกว่าชีวิตอันต่ำต้อย ด้อยคุณค่าของพวกตน มนุษย์จึงกลายเป็นสัตว์ที่มีความทะเยอทะยานสูงที่สุดในบรรดาสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง ทว่า ในขณะเดียวกันก็กลายเป็นสัตว์ที่ละโมบ เห็นแก่ตัว โหดร้าย ป่าเถื่อน และพร้อมจะใช้ความรุนแรงเข้าห้ำหั่นกันมากที่สุดเช่นกัน

หาก Myth (ปรัมปรา) เป็นนิทรรศการที่ว่าด้วยเรื่องเทพเจ้า Celebration of flesh and blood ก็เป็นชุดผลงานที่ว่าด้วยการนำเสนอเรื่องราวของมนุษย์ รวมไปถึงเงื่อนไขที่ข้องเกี่ยว แวดล้อมมนุษย์เป็นหลัก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอารมณ์ความรู้สึก สุข ทุกข์ ปีติยินดี เจ็บปวดทรมาน เยี่ยงปุถุชน โดยการแทนที่ ซ้อนทับ สับเปลี่ยนภาพของเหล่าเทพเจ้า หรือภาพทางศาสนาอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ด้วยเหตุการณ์ร่วมสมัย โดยหวังว่า หากมนุษย์เริ่มเรียนรู้ที่จะรู้จักความเป็นมนุษย์ อาจนำมาซึ่งความเคารพต่อเพื่อนมนุษย์ และเติบโตกลายเป็นความรักต่อมวลมนุษย์ในที่สุด ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่เหล่าเทพเจ้า มหาบุรุษ รวมถึงจินตนาการร่วมอันยิ่งใหญ่ของพวกเรา ล้มเหลวมาตลอดประวัติศาสตร์

พัทธ์ ยิ่งเจริญ ศิลปินจาก มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร คณะจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม และภาพพิมพ์ ได้รับเกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง มีผลงานอันโดดเด่นได้เข้าร่วมแสดงงานกลุ่มต่างๆ มากมาย เป็นที่ยอมรับทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ได้ร่วมแสดงผลงานในเวทีต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น  Art Expo Malaysia 2018 ที่ประเทศ Malaysia และในครั้งล่าสุดได้เข้าร่วม  Art Central Hong Kong 2019 ที่ประเทศ Hong Kong
