The Exhibition “I LOVE GOODBYE” showcases Rattaphoom Piwpantamit’s unparalleled artistic finesse on oil paintings that aim to express the sense of awareness accumulated throughout his lifetime. Oil paintings on the canvas reflect emotions and unambiguous shapes that characterise the artist’s unique painting style. Human skulls and certain kinds of animals are portrayed in the paintings to signify endless life cycles of any living creature, not particularly of humans.

If death is the end of the road, if our breath is taken away by it, if our sensory perception stops working; what is left to be cherished in this world? Life cycles of other creatures still go on…Life is indeed only a certain period of time in the whole existence. Artists therefore spend their life on understanding and discovering themselves, finding values of life, practising mindfulness and recognising values of living and passing. This exhibition will trigger sensory perception of the viewers to feel, recall, imagine and interpret each art piece to create their own version of “I LOVE GOODBYE”.

นิทรรศการ I LOVE GOODBYE คือการกลับมาอีกครั้งของ รัฐภูมิ ผิวพันธมิตร ศิลปินที่สร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมันถ่ายทอดถึงการตระหนักรู้ที่ผ่านการสั่งสมประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับความผูกพันและการสูญเสีย ซึ่งนิทรรศการในครั้งนี้รัฐภูมิยังคงแสดงเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะอันแสนละเมียดเรียบง่ายแต่กลับแฝงด้วยความเดียวดายและสะเทือนใจอย่างแยบยลอีกเช่นเคย

หากความตายคือจุดสิ้นสุด สัณญาณสุดท้ายของเราถูกตัดวูบดับไปโลกที่เหลืออยู่จะสำคัญอะไร...ในเมื่อไม่สามารถสัมผัสด้วยประสาทใดได้อีก ทุกสิ่งยังก้มหน้าก้มตาเวียนหมุนไปตามวัฏจักรโดยไม่มีเรา ชีวิตเป็นเพียงชั่วระยะเวลาๆหนึ่งของการมีอยู่ ศิลปินจึงใช้ช่วงเวลานี้ทำความเข้าใจและสำรวจตัวตนผ่านกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อฝึกฝนเรียนรู้ให้เกิดสติ ไม่ประมาท...มองเห็นคุณค่าของการดำรงอยู่และการจากไป ด้วยสายตาที่เท่าเทียมกัน..
