Rattana Khunkaew has his very
first exhibition called “ The Monkey Show ”
He use the monkey show to run the
story that he is interested in which is, there always be 2 sides in life, the
outside appearance and the deep thoughts filled up with desires. This entire
are defines by the society.
Even though the artworks of the
monkey show are looking quite old but still, he use the modernism to blend it
perfectly. He brings important scenes from Thai drama shows such as Rang Ngao,
Dork Som See Thong, and Khun Chang Khun Phan to be the scenes in The Monkey
Show.
Therefore, The Monkey Shows are
reckoned as the contemporary art, which has a perfect combination of idea and
technique.
