“ Phantasia ” นิทรรศการเดี่ยว ของ “ก้องภพ เบ็ญจนิรัตน์” กับผลงานจิตกรรมสีน้ำมันที่แสดงถึงกลิ่นอายความผสมผสานแบบตะวันตกที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปิน เล่าถึงโลกแห่งงานประพันธ์ซึ่งถูกร้อยเรียงผ่านตัวอักษร ภายใต้ไวยกรณ์และถ้อยคำอันสละสลวย ได้เว้นพื้นที่ไว้สำหรับการแต่งเติมความคิดและจินตนาการจากประสบการณ์ของศิลปิน เพื่อนำมาประกอบสร้างจนปรากฎเป็นจินตภาพของเรื่องราวนั้นๆ

นิทรรศการนี้จึงเป็นดั่งมโนภาพอันแตกต่างของศิลปินที่เกิดขึ้นจากการอ่านเรื่องราวในวรรณคดีของไทย ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักอย่างแพร่หลาย อยู่คู่กับสังคมไทยมาอย่างยาวนานจนมีภาพจำอันคุ้นชิน ถูกนำมาตีความใหม่ในรูปแบบทางจิตรกรรมที่มีความแตกต่างจากรูปแบบเดิม ผ่าน Aesthetic อันฟุ้งฝันอย่างเป็นเอกลักษณ์ จนปรากฏออกมาเป็นโลกแห่งวรรณคดีในอุดมคติของศิลปิน

“Phantasia” is the solo exhibition of “Kongpop Benjanirat” with the oil paintings that express the combined western characters in his significant style. Indicating the world of poetry that had been exquisitely composed through letters, under the perfect grammar and aesthetic words, keeping the space for a creative idea and imagination from his own experiences in order to be jointly created to become a conception of each story.

Therefore this exhibition is a different imagination of the artist which was inspired from reading Thai literatures that have been well known and stayed with a Thai society for a long period of time. It had then become a familiar image and reinterpreted in a form of painting which was different from the original style through remarkably imaginative aesthetics and it has finally presented in the world of literature in the artist’s ideal.
