“The Universe of Us” by Ladakorn Puangbubpha, her first solo exhibition with Number1Gallery. She is one of the amazing artists from Silpakorn University. She has outstanding works, techniques and the content as well as her interesting expression with Etching technique, scratching and etching processes in order to make a design on a copper plate. This was inspired by her loved one that narrating a beautiful harmonious story and a relation through things around us and all creative creatures.

“The Universe of Us” exhibition this time, an artist had boundlessly learned the way of thinking and imagining from her loved one, where it had become her inspiration to create the art on an imaginative space that had integrated between a plenty of plants and animal creatures including a material that representing an unrealistic conditions and it was reflected on the work of “1379 Town”. A different state of time, vibrations, color tones and shapes that appear on her work can be comparative to a magical door that welcoming everyone to another land which is simultaneously fascinating and exciting. These are part of living life and being together happily.

Ladakorn Puangbubpha graduated her master degree of Fine Arts Program in Visual Arts, Silpakorn University. She received the White Elephant reward from “The White Elephant Art Award” in 2021, an outstanding reward from “The PTT Art Contest in 2020; moreover, she had gotten a scholarship from “The General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Foundation” and exhibited tons of works both in domestic and foreign countries. For instance, “International Print Biennale Yerevan 2019” in Armenia, “The International Print Triennial Cieszyn” in Poland, The 10th Kochi International Triennial Exhibition of Prints in Japan.

“The Universe of Us” โดย ลดากร พวงบุบผา นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกกับนัมเบอร์วันแกลลอรี่ ศิลปินที่น่าจับตามองจากรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร สร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่โดดเด่นทั้งเทคนิควิธีการและเนื้อหา ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจ ด้วยเทคนิคภาพพิมพ์โลหะ (Etching) ผ่านการขูดขีดและกรรมวิธีกัดกรดให้เกิดเป็นร่องลึกบนแม่พิมพ์เพลททองแดง โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากบุคคลอันเป็นที่รัก บอกเล่าเรื่องราวอันงดงามที่เชื่อมโยงสายใยและความผูกพันเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน ผ่านสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัว พืชพรรณและสิ่งมีชีวิตในจินตนาการ

นิทรรศการ “The Universe of Us” ในครั้งนี้ ศิลปินได้ซึมซับความคิดและจินตนาการอันไม่รู้จบจากการใช้เวลาร่วมกับบุคคลอันเป็นที่รัก หลอมรวมเกิดเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์พื้นที่สมมติ ที่ผสมผสานไว้ด้วยสิ่งมีชีวิตที่หลากหลายทั้งพืชและสัตว์ รวมทั้งวัตถุสิ่งของที่ให้ความหมายใหม่ในบริบทเหนือจริง ซึ่งสะท้อนอยู่ในผลงาน เช่นภาพ “1379 Town” ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศ สีสัน รูปทรงและห้วงเวลาต่างๆ ที่ปรากฎ เปรียบเสมือนประตูที่เชื้อเชิญให้เราก้าวผ่านเข้าไปสู่อีกดินแดนหนึ่ง ซึ่งทั้งน่าค้นหาและตื่นตาตื่นใจในเวลาเดียวกัน สิ่งเหล่านี้ล้วนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการใช้ชีวิตและอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างมีความสุข

ลดากร พวงบุบผา จบปริญญาโท ศิลปมหาบัณฑิต สาขาทัศนศิลป บัณฑิตวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากกรกรุงเทพมหานคร ได้รับรางวัลช้างเผือก ในการประกวดศิลปกรรมช้างเผือก ปี 2564, รางวัลดีเด่นการประกวดศิลปกรรม ปตท. ปี 2563, ได้รับทุนการศึกษาจากกองทุนพลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนท์ อีกทั้งยังร่วมแสดงผลงานต่างๆ มากมายทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เช่น เข้าร่วมแสดงผลงานภาพพิมพ์นานาชาติ “International Print Biennale Yerevan 2019” ประเทศอาร์เมเนีย, “The 20th International Print Biennale Varna 2019” ประเทศบัลแกลเลีย ในปี 2562, “The International Print Triennial Cieszyn”, ประเทศ โปแลนด์, The 10th Kochi International Triennial Exhibition of Prints ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
