We all have our own flower vases.
Some vases are filled with a variety of flowers, while others are simple with just one flower.
Some vases are tenderly cared for, while others are left to let the flowers gradually wither with time.
No vases are the same, just like each person's life.
“Echoes in a twisted vessel” by Sahapap Lertsamatijit with a painting that reflects the representation of individuals through vases, and flowers that symbolize the experiences that pass through our lives. Every time we pick a flower and place it in a vase, we choose to keep something meaningful to ourselves, whether it be a beautiful moment or a painful memory. It may be something ordinary that no one notices, or something considered strange.
Some people choose vases to match the flowers.
Some people always change the flowers.
Some people change both the flowers and the vase when life brings new experiences.
Because both we and our experiences never stand still.
“Echoes in a twisted vessel” does not merely invite you to look at a "flower vase," but rather encourages you
to reflect on what stories the flowers you keep would tell if your life were compared to a vase.
เราทุกคนต่างมีแจกันดอกไม้เป็นของตัวเอง
บางใบเต็มไปด้วยดอกไม้หลากชนิด บางใบเรียบง่ายด้วยดอกไม้เพียงหนึ่ง
บางใบได้รับการดูแลอย่างอ่อนโยน บางใบถูกปล่อยให้ดอกไม้ค่อย ๆ เหี่ยวเฉาไปตามกาลเวลา
ไม่มีแจกันใบใดเหมือนกัน เฉกเช่นชีวิตของแต่ละคน
Echoes in a twisted vessel โดย สหภาพ เลิศสมาธิจิตร กับผลงานจิตรกรรมซึ่งสะท้อนภาพแทนตัวบุคคลผ่านแจกัน และดอกไม้ที่เปรียบดั่งประสบการณ์ที่ผ่านเข้ามาในชีวิต ทุกครั้งที่เราหยิบดอกไม้สักดอกปักลงในแจกัน เราต่างเลือกเก็บสิ่งที่มีความหมายไว้กับตัวเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นช่วงเวลาอันงดงามหรือความทรงจำแสนเจ็บปวด อาจเป็นเรื่องธรรมดาที่ไม่มีใครสังเกตเห็น หรือเป็นสิ่งที่ถูกมองว่าแปลกประหลาด
บางคนเลือกแจกันให้เข้ากับดอกไม้
บางคนเปลี่ยนดอกไม้อยู่เสมอ
บางคนเปลี่ยนทั้งดอกไม้และแจกัน เมื่อชีวิตพาไปพบประสบการณ์ใหม่
เพราะทั้งตัวเราและประสบการณ์ ล้วนไม่เคยหยุดนิ่ง
Echoes in a twisted vessel จึงไม่ได้ชวนให้คุณมองเพียง "แจกันดอกไม้"
หากแต่ชวนให้ทบทวนว่า หากชีวิตของคุณเปรียบดั่งแจกัน ดอกไม้ที่คุณเก็บไว้กำลังบอกเล่าเรื่องราวแบบใด
